A not so loving phone call....
by new hope and happiness ini recently got a letter in my pillar box asking me to attend a meeting at the k.h.
i ignored the " kind" request.. this was folloed up by a " loving" phone call with the question " do i believe in the organisation" my reply.
" anyway what pissed me off was during the " loving" phone call i realized there was another " brother" listning in.

Desiripusofchange...i think deep down we all know the world is a miseable place...thats why i feel " pity" for the elders...Its not because they think sport unhealty competition, its because they miss out on so much smiles and laughter.. I mean as i grew up i was told the 70s was an unloving and an evil time....looking back now i think it was a loving and a good time...because it was my time, my enviroment, my culture...and it was a good time for me, even if the world in general a miserable place...

by RottenRiley inwe get plenty of company men passing through our circuit, often filled with misinformation and lugging around a suitcase of guilt, they bring more guilt to the weak while praising the braggart pioneers and slapping the "righteous over much" elders.
why are the wrong people getting praise in this distorted community?
i know for a fact many of the elders i served with have issues with alcoholism, when "brother guilt" brought his emotional hurricane through our circuit, i had the chance to eat and help pay for his "seven shots of tequila", both him and his wife were not immune to over-indulgences.

Some people are addicted to alcohol..some can drink in moderation. So to answer your question the J.W enviroment doesnt have a support network...how can a witness say " i am an alcoholic" ?

Zak..what i have learnt in life is parents have a strong bond with the grandchild. I feel very sorry for your mum that this cult has this " unnatural" influence on her.
I am glad i am out and i hope someday i will be a granddad....and i hope someday soon your mum wakes up, for you her and her grandchilds sake.

Phizzy...i hadnt thought that they recorded the " loving" phone call. Makes it seem like a police interagation...except with out having my rights read out first.....
As a follow up i did ring the elder back a few days afterwards and asked if he wanted to come to my house and watch a football match on T.V with my family...." we miss you at the K.H" was his reply...LOL

Finding out its a " criminal organisation" .....but i have woken up to religion in geneal and it seems to me for the most part all religion is under the same blanket, existing under " false" pretencies and so " obtaining" money under " false" pretencies. I label that a criminal organisation.

Hi Dis...i was actually very uninterested in the phone call and dont remember much about it...mainly i spoke about football and movies and art and they tried to speak about the bible " organisation".
It ended with me saying " thanks for the call but i feal its pretty low what you did...and you both know what i mean"
